Riding Rules and Regulations

CAW Park Riding Rules

CAW abides by State and Federal laws, as well as manufacturers’ restrictions. It is always safety first at CAW. Please be courteous and considerate of your fellow riders, and help keep our children safe. No littering, no fires, and camping in approved areas only.

 

ADMITTANCE IDs – Annual Pass riders must have their annual pass card with them at all time. Day pass riders will be given a wristband to wear for identification. Stop when signaled by a park ranger or CAW staff.

HELMETS – All riders (except on golf carts) are required to wear DOT approved helmets while riding.

MOTOCROSS TRACKS – Complete safety gear is required (full face helmet, eye protection, chest protector, riding boots, gloves, and long pants). See Motocross rules for more details.

TIRE RESTRICTIONS – No aggressive tires. 1 1/8 inch maximum tread depth; no paddle, blade, traction bar patterns; and no chains, spikes, or added traction devices allowed. Non-approved tires include: Mudzilla, Mud B’s, EDL Vampire, Tri-Claw, Bi-Claw, and Out-Law.

RIDING DOUBLE – Allowed only on ATV and RUV equipment designed and built for double riding. ATV and RUV drivers must be 16 years or older.

ATV RESTRICTIONS – CAW follows Federal Guidelines.

No rider under the age of 6 years old.

Age 6 years – 50cc-70cc

Age 12 years – 90cc & under

Age 16 years – 90cc & over

THREE WHEELERS – Not allowed.

MINORS – 17 years old and under must have a parent or legal guardian sign a waiver and be on-site at all times.

RENTALS – Renters must be 18 years or older with a valid drivers license and credit card (American Express, MasterCard, Visa).

TRAILS – Ride cautiously and safely at all times. Stay on marked trails, and obey all signs, gates, and barriers. See map for one way and two way marked trails. No riding in creek beds allowed. Crossing allowed only at marked crossings.

SPEED LIMITS – 10 MPH in parking lots. Please obey all posted speed limits.
